RICE WITH PEA AND CARROT
For the preparation of this dish you’ll need the following ingredients:
– 2 small cups of rice
– 1 cup peas
– 2 carrots
– 8 tablespoons olive oil
Wash the rice and allow to drain for about 5 minutes. In a pan heat the olive oil and place in it peas and chopped carrots. Boil slowly over low fire, it added rice with salt and cover with a lid. This process is continued about 25 minutes. Add a little water, mix and cover again. Watch the rice while absorb the water and then stand covered a bit more time
This dish doesn’t count many calories, you’ll feel full and the best part is that takes only short time to prepare it.
– 40 grams of rice
– 7 smaller pieces leeks cut into thin rounds
– 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
– A soup cube
– 2 tablespoons cream
– 1 deciliter water
We clean the leeks and wash it nice, once you chopped into quarters. Cut the garlic into pieces. Take a frying pan, pour in olive oil and chopped leeks, add salt and fry. After a few minutes add the garlic, seal it with water and boil it. At the same time in a pan pour olive oil,add rice and simmer. For a better taste add a soup cue into the pan and cook it gently. When it will be half cooked, add the leeks , add salt and pepper as desired and finally it became a bit more soup and leave it to cook all together. When will be ready , at the end add cream and served at the table with parsley and Parmesan.
